PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloying furnace of a direct heating type, which has an adequate temperature rising speed, and accordingly is inexpensive despite its large processing capacity. SOLUTION: The direct-heating type alloying furnace for the galvanized steel sheet has a flame-jet heating section installed in an inlet side of a direct-heating type heating furnace. The above direct-heating type alloying furnace has preferably an ascending-current blocking section installed in a boundary between the direct-heating type heating furnace and the flame-jet heating section, has a burner in the flame-jet heating section, which can preferably change an amount of heat input according to a thickness of the steel sheet.
