PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin for optics, having a high refractive index controlled in refractive index deviation and in an optical strain deviation. SOLUTION: A cured resin is obtained by curing a polymerizable composition containing, in the composition containing a compound having at least one structure represented by formula (1), a thioepoxy compound having at least one structure represented by formula (2) (wherein R<SB>1</SB>is a divalent 1-10C hydrocarbon group; R<SB>2</SB>, R<SB>3</SB>, and R<SB>4</SB>are each independently a 1-10C hydrocarbon group or hydrogen atom; X is S or O, an average number of the S is≥50% to the total of the S and O constituting a three membered ring) in the molecule and having at least one structure represented by formula (3) in the molecule, the thioepoxy compound being≤5 mass% to the total weight of the composition.
