PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of residual bulk by improving the property for pushing out contents by forming a recess groove in the peripheral face of a cylindrical barrel. SOLUTION: In a tube container comprising a shoulder 3 with a mouth, a cylinder, and a cylindrical barrel 2, a recess groove 1 is defined in the shoulder of the cylindrical barrel 2. Contents are pushed out by pressing the barrel 2 toward the inside of the shoulder 3. By pressing the barrel 2 toward the shoulder 3, the internal surface of the shoulder of the recess 1 is pressed against the rear of the shoulder 3. Also, the innermost portion of the substantially U-shape of the recess 1 is folded up by pulling and squeezing the barrel 2. Thus, bulk remaining inside the shoulder 3, particularly in the area of a boundary between the barrel 2 and the shoulder 3 in which the bulk easily stay, can be used up almost completely without needing much force. In addition, forming the recess groove round the cylindrical body makes it possible to reduce an irregular deformation of the tube to the smallest possible amount and push out the contents without needing excessive force.
