PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer enabling change of a setup for a frame in a short time even when a base sheet carrying reference and a plate making reference are different from each other or dimension of the frame is changed. SOLUTION: In this screen printer, a frame stopper 30 which is freely stretched and contracted in the up and down direction is fitted on a squeegee head 3, and a control device operates an appropriate position of the frame by inputting a carrying reference of the printer, a plate making reference of a mask 8, a dimension of the frame 9, a dimension of a base sheet, and the like into the control device of the screen printer. Based on the result, the squeegee head 3 is automatically moved to a position where a contact face of a rod 30a of the frame stopper 30 fitted on the squeegee head 3 coincides with the back end face 9S of the frame. Thereafter, the rod 30a of the frame stopper 30 is extended to a height where it is brought into contact with the back end face of the frame, and the position of the frame 9 is determined by bringing the back end face of the frame 9 into contact with the rod 30a of the frame stopper 30.
