PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper mechanism for a chair with an inclinable seat which can realize to perfectly prevent rattling in slanting motion of a slanting body with a seat part upside against an attached body attached on a leg part to stabilize and has a slanting seat part to sufficiently demonstrate a damper function capable of realizing mild slanting motion of the seat part. SOLUTION: The front part of an attached body 6 attached to a leg part and the front part of a slanting body 9 with a seat part attached upside are rotatably connected by a horizontal rotation shaft 8, and the rear part of the slanting body to the rear side than the rotary shaft is energized upward to enable the rear part of the seat part to take both an erecting posture and a reclining posture to form this damper mechanism for a chair. The damper mechanism is slidably in contact with between positions where side faces of the attached body 6 and the slanting body 9 separate from the rotation shaft 8 are overlapped in a condition a slider 33 is attached on one side face and pressed against the other side face.
