PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safe thermotherapy equipment providing a stable temperature for thermotherapy, emitting neither smoke nor odor, and easily used. SOLUTION: This thermotherapy equipment is provided with a hot plate 3 for the thermotherapy and the hot plate 3 is heated by power supply from a heat source. The hot plate 3 is provided with a ceramic plate 3B to be a treatment surface outside a metal plate 3A. A power transistor Q7 is brought in contact with the metal plate 3A, and the heat generated by applying a current to the power transistor Q7 is transmitted to the ceramic plate 3B via the metal plate 3A. A thermistor TH1 is incorporated as a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the hot plate 3, and the power transistor Q7 is turned on/off at a prescribed temperature based on the signal from the thermistor TH1 so as to retain the hot plate 3 at a prescribed temperature.
