PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing the presence of specific cells in a system with several kinds of cells without isolating the specific cells. SOLUTION: Directly using leukocyte-derived RNA extracted from peripheral blood, the assay value is corrected, thereby the balance(Th1/Th2) for helper T(Th) and the number ratio:Th1 cells/Th2 cells in a nucleic acid sample or the respective Th1/Th2 data for a patient and a healthy subject are compared with each other to analyze allergy. Further, by specifying a group of genes indispensable for examining the Th1/Th2, the necessary number of DNA fragments( oligonucleotides ) to be laid on an array is minimized, thereby the objective method and system for analyzing allergy using the array for this purpose are provided in high reproducibility and reliability without isolating specific cells.
