<p>Braking system for inline skates acts on several wheels (6, 7). During the braking process at least two wheels are coupled in a rotating manner by a braking wheel (5) and the braking action is applied via this braking wheel. An independent claim is also included for an inline skate comprising the above braking system. Preferred Features: The rear wheels are coupled in a rotating manner by the braking wheel and the braking action is applied via this braking wheel. The braking wheel is mounted on a lever (4), which is pressed downward via an operating rod (3) to make contact with the wheels when the boot shaft (1) pivots backward. The braking action is produced by the friction bearing (8) of the braking wheel.</p> |
