摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze the influences of a 1&mu;m-1mm fine protruded portion formed on the surface of a rubber material on a fluid. <P>SOLUTION: This simulation method for the rubber material and the fluid comprises a step S1 for setting such a rubber material model that the rubber material having a 1&mu;m-1mm fine protruded portion and/or recessed portion on the surface is modeled with an element adaptable for numerical analysis, a step 2 for setting such a fluid model that the fluid is modeled using an element adaptable for numerical analysis, and simulation steps S5-S9 for performing deformation calculation of at least the fluid model in a time increment dt while making the rubber material model in contact with the fluid model. The time increment dt is larger than a theoretical time increment dt<SB>T</SB>(=Lmin/c<SB>T</SB>) obtained from the ratio of a theoretical value c<SB>T</SB>for a stress wave transmitting speed to a length Lmin of the minimum element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
