<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which makes a data error rate and LPP strength good and stable. <P>SOLUTION: An optical information recording medium is of a disk type and has meandering grooves and lands and further has an embossed pit (land pre-pit) previously provided on the land. Rims are left in the direction of left and right of the land pre-pit. When the half width of the land pre-pit is assumed to be W, one side of left rim width r1, and the other side of the left rim width r2, the relation 0.25≤(r1+r2)/W≤1.5 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
