摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing yield of a recombinant protein, especially a recombinant excretion protein having disulfide bonds produced with yeast. <P>SOLUTION: Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) enzyme catalyzes formation of a disulfide bond in secretory and cell surface proteins. Recombinant strains of the yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, regularly and excessively producing human PDI or yeast PDI are constituted. The strains secrete the proteins having disulfide bonds latently important for therapies.
