<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a laser welding position at a predetermined position in relation to a groove of a weld material before welding start in an automatic copying welding process. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic copying controller of welding position is controlled to detect a groove position of weld materials 4a-4c, and a laser welding torch 1 is automatically traced and welded at the detected position. Therefor, it is equipped with a light-projecting means 5 for irradiating the groove of weld material with light, a two-dimensional light receiving means 6 for imaging the groove, a image processor 17 for treating the image received from the two-dimensional light receiving means, and a torch position control means 9 for controlling the position of the laser welding torch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
