PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of electrophotography and an electrophotographic image forming device in which a high sensitivity and a low remaining potential are realized. SOLUTION: An electrophotography photoreceptor including a phtarocyanine compound in a photoconductive layer is discharged by irradiating a Soret band of the phtarocyanine compound with light.
