EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, ROVING PREPREG AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition useful as a matrix resin of fiber reinforced composite materials and to provide roving prepreg which can demonstrate excellent mechanical properties and is excellent in low pressure moldability. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition is composed of [A] an epoxy resin of 100 pts.mass, [B] an acid anhydride of 10-20 pts.mass, [C] a boron trichloride amine complex of 2-10 pts.mass and [D] an organoaluminium compound of 0.1-1 pts.mass. The roving prepreg is composed of a fiber reinforcing material and the above mentioned epoxy resin composition and shows rate of adhesion area of at least 70% when molded at 80°C under molding pressure of 0.02MPa.
