PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of camshaft parts in an assembly camshaft of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This camshaft 2 is formed by joining an end piece 22, to which a sprocket 4 is fitted, to a shaft tube 211 to which a cam is fitted. A hexagon part 224 as a tool engagement part for fixing or adjusting a cam shaft rotating position is formed on the end piece 22.
