PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified production method for hydrogenating a hydrogenated conjugated diene-based polymer, especially a copolymer of a conjugated diene and anα,β-unsaturated nitrile, of the carbon-carbon double bond in a state of a latex, which enables industrial materialization from the aspects of quality and economy. SOLUTION: The method for producing the hydrogenated conjugated diene-based polymer latex comprises at least a process (A) for dissolving or dispersing a platinum group metal-containing hydrogenation catalyst into a conjugated diene-based polymer latex and hydrogenating the carbon-carbon unsaturated bond of the polymer, a process (B) for complexing the platinum group metal with a complexing agent to form a water-insoluble complex and a process (C) for filtering the water-insoluble complex by using a filter having a plurality of filter elements to separate the water-insoluble complex from the hydrogenation reaction mixture.
