PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll clamp device capable of preventing a clamp arm from scratching and damaging the floor, and from generating loud noises at the time of taking delivery. SOLUTION: A roller 20 brought into rotatable contact with the floor 19 is rotatably supported on a short arm 14. Since the short arm 14 can be advanced by bringing the roller 20 into rotatable contact with the floor 19, the short arm does not scratch and damage the floor 19. The generated noises turn into the rolling frictional noises of the roller 20 which is remarkably smaller comparing with the frictional noises of a plate and the floor 19. Since the noises become small, an operator can perform the taking delivery work in comfort without giving consideration to the surrounding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
