The fastening, to secure an automobile component, has a screw (30) with a shaft and a head (12). The shaft has a threaded section (32) and a section (16) free of threading between the threaded section and the screw head. A buffer (40) has an opening (46) to hold the screw head, with the under side of the screw head towards a shoulder (48) in the opening. The buffer is pressed towards the screw head by a coil spring (58) between a support surface (24) at the shaft and the buffer. The screw head has a ring-cylinder shaped circumference (20) to work with a cylindrical guide section (54) within the opening. The buffer is in two sections (42,44) of different materials, where one is softer and forms a laying surface while the other is harder and forms the guide surface.
