DOOR HOLDING MECHANISM FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door holding mechanism for image forming apparatus which prevents breakage of a door and a holding member and can realize compatibility of the operability of the door and the countermeasure against door breakage with a simple constitution.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has the door which serves as an apparatus exterior too, can rotate around a fulcrum axis and can be freely opened and closed and a restraining means for restraining the door in an opened state of the door. The restraining means can move from a first position where the door in the opened state is held to a second position where the door is rotated over the first position in a door opening direction. Further the image forming apparatus has an energizing means for energizing the restraining means to the first position.
