<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus dispensing with the installation of a cooling means for an image forming means and yet capable of efficiently discharging heat generated inside the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A transport path 16 is arranged along the front side 1a of the apparatus, and also, a circuit board 18 is arranged along the rear side 1b, even in the case the heat discharged from a fixing unit 13 and the circuit board 18 rises, the image forming means installed at the center of the apparatus is not affected at all, and there is no such danger that toner in the image forming means is affected by the heat discharged from the circuit board 18 and the toner temperature rises and the toner is melt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
