<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable logic circuit, a computer system and a circuit initializing method which reliably executes the circuit initialization, without adding a function for adjusting the sending timing of an initializing signal to an external circuit using the circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a programmable logic unit 3, a circuit data writing unit 4 for writing circuit data stored in a circuit data memory 7 in the programmable logic unit and sending a write completion signal, and an initialization decision unit 5 for deciding whether an initializing signal from an external circuit 6 is valid/invalid by referring to the write completion signal. When the initializing signal is inputted before the write completion, an initialization decision signal is returned to the external circuit, and hence the circuit initialization is reliably executed without providing the external circuit itself with a function for adjusting the sending timing of the initializing signal, thus avoiding the trouble that the process of the circuit is executed while kept it not initialized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
