<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making an organic light emitting diode display represent many kinds of gray level while solving defects of a known technology that is able to represent many kinds of gray level on a display and has a defect in contrast between a gray level and a gray level. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light emitting diode display is equipped with a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of organic light emitting diodes which are driven through the scanning lines and data lines, and the method includes a step of connecting the respective data lines to power supply circuits (100), (102), (104) and (106) constituted by connecting a plurality of circuits, each having one switch connected to one current source in series, in parallel and a step of combining scanning operations of respective scanning lines, controlling respective switches of the respective power supply circuits (100), (102), (104) and (106), supplying a composite current to the connected data lines, and driving the organic light emitting diodes (108), (110), (112) and (114). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
