<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a treatment apparatus capable of effectively monitoring the temperature distribution of a treatment part. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment apparatus is equipped with a treatment means (51) having a needle-like treatment device (502) used by a therapist and emitting energy for thermotherepy from its leading end with a subject to be treated punctured, an image pickup means (11) for picking up the temperature distribution image of the cross section of the subject to be treated by utilizing magnetic resonance in parallel to treatment due to a treatment means, a detection means (520) for detecting the geometrical state of the treatment device in a three-dimensional space and a control means (506) for allowing the image pickup means to pick up a temperature distribution image with respect to the cross section of a second kind including the axis of the treatment device, the cross section of the first kind parallel thereto and the leading end of the treatment device on the basis of the detection state and crossing the axis of the treatment device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
