<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing take-up device for transmitting the driving force in the forward and reverse directions of a drive means such as a motor to a winding shaft by a simple clutch mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In this webbing take-up device, when external gears 102 of a clutch 220 are rotated in the winding direction under the driving force of a motor, a pressing part 276 of an inertia plate 260 presses a pawl 240 to engage the pawl with the external teeth 122 of an adapter 112. The winding shaft is rotated in the take-up direction thereby. When the external gears 102 are rotated in the pull-out direction under the driving force of the motor, a pressing part 280 of the inertia plate 260 presses a pawl 240 and engages the pawl with the external teeth 122 of the adapter 112. The winding shaft is rotated in the pull-out direction. By providing the pawls 240 and 250, the webbing take-up motion can transmit the rotation of the motor in the forward and reverse directions to the winding shaft and rotated the winding shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
