摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for plate thickness by continuous hot rolling equipment which allows an outlet-side plate thickness at the outlet side of a final rolling stand to reach a target plate thickness with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate plate thickness gauge 18 is arranged between the final rolling stand 17 and a first stand 11 in the continuous hot rolling equipment 10 and a finishing plate thickness gauge 20 is arranged at the outlet side of the final rolling stand 17. An intermediate target plate thickness is determined by the outlet-side plate thickness obtained from the finishing plate thickness gauge 20 and roll gaps of rolling stands 15-17 on the downstream side arranged downwardly of a set position of the intermediate plate thickness gauge 18, and the difference between the intermediate target plate thickness and a measured value of the intermediate plate thickness by the intermediate plate thickness gauge 18 is determined. When the difference is within a predetermined range, the roll gaps initially set up at respective rolling stands 15-17 on the downstream side arranged downwardly of the intermediate plate thickness gauge 18 are modified by the measured values of the intermediate plate thickness in initial set ups of the respective rolling stands 11-17 which are set based on learned values obtained from rolling records. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
