摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor, having a low ESR (electron spin resonance) by solving the problem wherein the ESR is increased due to the volume of an anode deriving part being too small, as compared with the volume of the anode body. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor is constituted so that the area of a plane covered by the sintered body layer 3 of a valve operating metallic foil 2 constituting the anode body 1 is 1/2 or larger than the area of plane of the sintered body layer 3 and/or so that the rate of the sectional area of anode deriving part 2a of the valve operating metallic foil 2 to the sectional area of the sintered body layer 3 is 10% or larger, whereby the connection between the anode or the valve operating metal foil 2 and the sintered body layer 3 is ensured, and the contact area between the anode deriving part 2a of the valve operating metal foil 2 and the sintered body layer 3 is enlarged, thereby reducing the value of ESR and obtaining the solid electrolytic capacitor of superior high-frequency responsiveness.
