摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet surface stuck-type permanent-magnet rotary-electric machine wherein permanent magnets are fit in dovetail grooves formed on the circumferential surface of a rotor core, which allows suppression of degradation in response and increase in torque ripples due to the interpole cores between the dovetail grooves. SOLUTION: The permanent-magnet rotary-electric machine comprises a rotor 33 formed by fitting permanent magnets 32, respectively, in a plurality of the dovetail grooves 31a formed on the circumferential surface of the rotor core 31; and a stator 34 disposed so that the rotor 33 is enclosed with the stator. Grooves 31d having U-shaped or V-shaped cross sections are formed on the outer surfaces 31c of the interpole cores 31b between the dovetail grooves 31a.
