PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption of a transmitter in a CDMA type mobile telephone. SOLUTION: In accordance with transmission powers, n (n>2) bias setting conditions of a power amplification means are stored and when sending a desired transmission power, optimal combination of stored gains and bias conditions is selected.
