PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection method and system for a voice communication system and a storage medium with an LCR function setting program stored thereon in which least expensive and most effective call origination is made possible under the conditions of originating a call without special labor or operation when using a terminal having functions of both an Internet phone and a general telephone set. SOLUTION: A telephone number of a destination to originate a call is inputted from a user and on the basis of the telephone number of the destination to originate the call inputted by the user, it is selected for each destination to originate the call which function of the general telephone set function and the Internet phone function is to be used.
