PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a sound quality is deteriorated because a maximum value of an amplitude and a maximum sound pressure are enlarged since linearity of the amplitude is considerably damaged when a width of an edge is narrowed to make a cross section into hollow approximately semicircular form although there is a method for expanding an effective vibration diameter for improving efficiency of a speaker. SOLUTION: The cross-section of the curved portion of an edge 22 is hollow and approximately elliptic. A longer diameter of the ellipse is made parallel with a central axis of a diaphragm 21, and a shorter diameter of the ellipse is set to be orthogonal to the central axis of the diaphragm. In the elliptical edge of such a structure, the cross-sectional width of the edge is made narrower than the semicircular edge to improve amplitude linearity and the maximum value of the amplitude.
