DISTANCE MEASURING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the distance to a measuring object in any case with a distance measuring equipment for measuring the distance to the measuring object by noncontact by using an ultrasonic wave. SOLUTION: The receiving conditions of ultrasonic waves is changed in the constitution according to the state of the measuring object of distance measurement and the state of the distance measuring equipment for measuring the distance to the measuring object by ultrasonic waves. By this, the distance to a measuring object can be measured in any case by controlling the sensitivity of the receiving wave and the threshold for receiving wave discrimination in accordance with the state of the measuring object of distance measurement and the state of the distance measuring equipment.
