PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient gas cylinder for liquefied gas storage at low cost for filling up resin powder evenly and productively in the main body of the cylinder without requiring expensive equipment and preventing the outflow of filler gas in a liquid state from the outlet hole of the cylinder even when it is used in an inverted state. SOLUTION: The cylinder is a container having a gas passing hole and is filled up with the resin powder 6. Preferably, the resin powder 6 is filled in a bag 17 having volume equal to the internal volume of the cylinder body 2, which is sealable at one end, before being housed in the cylinder body 2.
