PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily correcting the posture of a tank mounted on a toilet stool. SOLUTION: There is provided a tank posture adjusting mechanism, according to which a gap adjusting means 10 is arranged in a gap between a bottom surface of the tank T and an upper surface of the toilet stool, at a location closer to a front surface of the tank T, for adjusting the gap dimension between the bottom surface of the tank T and the upper surface of the toilet stool. The gap adjusting means 10 consists of a shaft portion 11, and a cam portion 12 protruded from a side peripheral surface of the shaft portion 11, and it is fitted into a bracket 1 arranged in the bottom surface of the tank T. Then an engaging structure for stopping the shaft portion 11 at a predetermined location is arranged between the bracket 1 and the shaft portion 11. Therefore when the shaft portion 11 is operated for rotation from a front side or lateral side of the tank T, downward protrusion of the cam portion 12 is adjusted depending on the rotational location of the shaft portion, to thereby correct the posture of the tank.
