The aid for the stacking of goods (2) on a loading device (3) has wall sections which enclose a stack of goods on the loading device, whereby the height of one of the wall sections is variable, and the stacking aid is removable from the loading device after completion of the goods stacking process. The wall sections enclose a base area correspond to the base area of the pallet. The stacking aid has a bottom and also an opening formed in one of the wall sections for the insertion of the loading device. An independent claim is included for a system for the stacking of goods including the proposed stacking aid.
