<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial cover for new-born babies highly susceptible to dangers to their lives, as a medical apparatus designed to improve their intensive care. <P>SOLUTION: The medical apparatus is called the artificial cover for the new-born babise and designed to improve their intensive care. They are highly susceptible to dangers when accommodated in an intensive care unit at a neonatological hospital. The apparatus supplied new-born babies in a sterile environment (capsule 10 for the new-born babies) with mixed, filtered, adjusted and moistened air and oxygen at a low noise level and at a constant temperature. This medical apparatus comprises two gas flow circuits, i.e., a closed adjusted air circuit and a continuous ventilation circuit. The closed adjusted air circuit is constructed to maintain a fixed temperature level within an intermediate artificial environment by using a heater and a fan that produces an adjusted air flow as a heat transmission means. The continuous ventilation circuit is provided with a set of air pressure devices connected together in series in order to supply the new-born babies with filtered, oxidized, adjusted and moistened air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
