<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine which unnecessitates change of the direction of a plate material by an operation even in the case of bending the plate material in a right-angled direction in two or more places, by means of the bending machine in which a punch for bending and a die for bending are arranged vertically oppositely at each fixed position. <P>SOLUTION: A gear is installed on the outer periphery of each retainer plate for the punch F for upper bending and the die G for lower bending. The retainer plate is made free to turn by means of a pinion rotationally driven by motor. Making the punch for upper bending free to move vertically enables the bending machine to bend the plate material without changing the direction of the plate material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
