<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a board capable of preventing the occurrence of a failure of fitting to a mating connector. <P>SOLUTION: In this connector 10 for a PCB, insertion holes 30 for making the inside and the outside of a hood 14 communicate with each other are formed in the bottom wall 12 of the hood 14 in a connector housing 11, and recesses 31 are formed at ends of the hood 14 side of the insertion holes 30 in the bottom wall 12. Since scraping dusts 34 produced by scrape between a terminal fitting 20 and the inside wall of the insertion hole 30 is stored in the recess 31 even when the terminal fitting 20 is mounted in the connector housing 11 in a form penetrating the insertion hole 30 from the outside of the connector housing 11, the failure of fitting to the mating connector (not shown) is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
