PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handset for a telephone set capable of controlling weight or the position of the center of gravity in response to the request of a user or the like. SOLUTION: The weight of a handset for a telephone set is made variable by attaching/detaching a weight member, and the position of the center of gravity of the handset for a telephone set is made changeable by selecting the mounting position of the weight member or moving it to a desired position.
