PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic pipe-column base section structure constituting the base section of a metallic pipe column to be disposed upright. SOLUTION: The metallic pipe-column base section structure has the metallic pipe column 1, a base plate 5 supporting the metallic pipe column 1 and having a required number of anchor mounting holes 6, vertical ribs 4 being disposed upright on the base plate 5, being installed at at leaast four places at regular intervals in the circumferential direction of the metallic pipe column 1 and reinforcing the metallic pipe column 1 and a ring material 10, which is connected at the upper ends of the vertical ribs 4 and in which end faces are engaged and mounted to the wall surface of the metallic pipe column 1.
