PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paint, a coating method for a building material and a coating method for a bedsill as a measure against termites. SOLUTION: A chemical layer 21 can be formed in several mm on the surface layer of the bedsill 20, and a coating film 22 with a thickness of 1 to 3 mm is put thereon. The coating film 22 is composed of grains 16 of charcoal, glue and salt. The vapor of chemicals can be absorbed by the grains 16 of charcoal.
