PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a male and a female connectors with broad contacting area, capable of permanently keeping the connection state at use, and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The connector 1 is constructed by inserting a male contact piece 24 into a female contact piece 2 and connecting them to each other, and arranging a plurality of rectangular pieces 4 at the periphery of central part of the female contact piece 2. A narrowed part 7 narrowed toward inside is formed to the rectangular pieces 4 arranged at the periphery of the female contact piece 2 at the position 6 having a prescribed distance from the top end 5 of the rectangular pieces.
