PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsymmetrical stern fin structure having an improved self-sailing element by eliminating the inherent resistance of stern fins, reducing the resistance of a hull and generating an unsymmetrical flow to a propeller. SOLUTION: In the unsymmetrical stern fin structure 1, the stern fins 7a, 7b each of which has one face formed to be flat and the other face formed in a cross section reducing its thickness as tending from a hull mounting portion 71 to an opening end 72 are arranged on both starboard and port sides, respectively, with the flat faces in the rotating direction of the propeller 9. Side face elevation anglesθof the hull mounting portions of the stern fins 7a, 7b are set to be preset values and the heights of the rear ends of the stern fins 7a, 7b are within a range of 60-70% of the radius of the propeller.
