PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost for working an inner peripheral surface of an annular workpiece. SOLUTION: This annular workpiece manufacturing device has a turntable 2 for rotatably supporting the annular workpiece 4 with the first axis 3 as the center and a grinding wheel 1 for grinding the inner peripheral surface of the workpiece 4 by rotating with the second axis 6 different from the first axis 3 as the center. The workpiece 4 is formed of a nickel group superalloy. The nickel group superalloy is a material difficult to grind with poorer cutting performance than a cobalt group alloy. Such grinding inexpensively forms the inner peripheral surface of the annular workpiece 4 of the material difficult to grind quicker than cutting. Such grinding also reduces residual stress of the workpiece 4 more than the cutting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
