PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for sterilized clean water capable of performing sterilization and the removal of sterilizing residue in a stationary state. SOLUTION: Water 1 to be treated is mixed with ozone-containing air 7a in a mixing tank 8 to be sterilized as ozone water 8a. The ozone water 8a is separated from sterilizing residue in a separation tank 9 to obtain sterilized clean water 3. When the sterilized clean water 3 is brought to a product 18 in a treatment plant 4, a return flow channel 22 with an on-off valve V5 is provided between the outlet 4E of the plant 4 and the mixing tank 8. When plant treatment is stopped, the whole of the separation tank 9 and the plant 4 are sterilized by sending ozone water 8a or ozone-containing air 7a into the whole of them and, before plant treatment is resumed, the sterilizing residue of the whole of the separation tank 9 and the plant 4 is removed by refluxing sterilized clean water 3 returned to the separation tank 9 from the separation tank 9 through the plant 4, the return flow channel 22 and the mixing tank 8. The sterilized clean water 3 extracted from the reflux of the sterilized clean water 3 is supplied to the wall surfaces of the spaces 9U and 4U in the separation tank 9 and the plant 4 and the sterilizing residue on the wall surfaces of the spaces 9U and 4U is desirably rinsed and removed by the sterilized clean water 3.
