REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MEDICAL IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for a medical imaging apparatus which takes magnetic resonance images of a subject accurately by a remote-control operation. SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for taking the magnetic resonance images of the subject and a first control device for an imaging operation and imaging control are equipped inside a vehicle. A second control device for remotely setting an imaging parameter which is a standard for the imaging operation of the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is equipped in a remote control room provided apart from the vehicle, and the imaging parameter and information data are transmitted and received between the first and the second control devices through a communication medium such as optical fiber.
