The aim of the invention is to provide a composite plate and a method for the production thereof. To this end, the invention provides that the upper stone plate (4) and the lower supporting plate (2), while facing one another or being situated one above the other, are firstly placed between adjustable fixed stop elements that form a formwork. A defined clearance is maintained between the stone plate (4) and the supporting plate. Afterwards, the light-density material layer (3) initially having a soft consistency is introduced under pressure between the stone plate (4) and the lower supporting plate (2), automatically expands therein, adheres to the stone plate and to the lower supporting plate, and hardens to form a rigid foam (3). At least some of the stop elements are subsequently loosened in order to remove the produced composite plate. |
