Electromagnetic adjusting device comprises an anchor (20) which axially moves in a housing (10) relative to a magnet frame (12) formed from a core section (14) and a yoke section (18), and a coil unit (24) impinged upon by an electric current to produce the movement. A detachable material connection is produced between the yoke section, an intermediate section (16) made from non-magnetic material and the core section using friction welding. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a magnet frame for an electromagnetic adjusting device.
