A source of signals has an internal resistor (110). On one of its ends a signal transmission line (102) links to the source of signals. An end resistor (112) links to another end of the signal transmission line. The internal and end resistors are complex resistors and are selected in such a way that frequency-dependent signal attenuation in a transmission system is reduced in a frequency range.
