PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to move to a next musical performance without being aware of the timing of sound volume recovery after fading out a sound to end a musical performance.

SOLUTION: The sound volume of a digital musical sound signal DMS (played sound) generated with musical sound waveform data MD for a melody is restored after all keys of a keyboard are released after the end of a fading-out process and then the next musical performance can properly be started only by releasing keys after the sound is faded out to end the musical performance, so that the player can move to the next musical performance without being aware of the timing of sound volume recovery.
