<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a solar battery cell, capable of improving production efficiency and assuring a proper work environment. <P>SOLUTION: By pressing a first sponge 12, which is impregnated with a dopant liquid containing impurities and is deformable under compression with respect to the surface of a p-type substrate 21, the dopant liquid contained in the first sponge 12 is discharged to the surface of the p-type substrate 21.
